Street Trading Policy Autumn 2025 Consultation
On 3 September 2025, South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Licensing Committee agreed to consult on proposed revisions to the Council’s Street Trading Policy subject to consultation. The Licensing Committee will consider all feedback received and will determine which, if any changes will be made to the Street Trading Policy in the new year. The existing policy and general information about the street trading regime can be viewed on our website.
This consultation will be open from Wednesday 15 October until Monday 24 November 2025.

Phases
Post-Consultation Decision Making
The results from this consultation will be collated and analysed, and will be used to inform decision making around the future of the Street Trading Policy. The Council's cabinet will have to approve any changes made to the scheme. These changes will only come into effect during the 2026/27 financial year.
