Public Spaces Protection Order - Babraham Road Park and Ride

We are asking for your views on a proposed Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) for Babraham Road Park & Ride. The proposed PSPO aims to reduce ongoing car-related antisocial behaviour, which has been reported by members of the public and local partners.

Car-related antisocial behaviour can include activities such as excessive engine revving, racing, playing amplified music from vehicles, or gathering in vehicles in a way that causes nuisance, alarm, or distress to others. These behaviours can negatively affect people using the park and ride, nearby residents, and the wider area.

A PSPO would allow us to introduce specific conditions to help prevent this behaviour and give authorised officers additional powers to deal with issues quickly and effectively.

Before making any decision, we want to hear from people who live near, work, travel through, or use Babraham Road Park & Ride.
