What is Beat the Street?

Beat the Street is a real-life game that encourages residents to move more and connect with their local area. Inspired by orienteering, the game guides players through a set of local destinations using map-reading skills and digital tools. It’s a safe and fun way to explore the area and discover new places. You can earn points, win prizes and discover more about your area by walking, cycling and wheeling.

Upcoming events

We will be hosting a Beat the Street launch event at South Cambs Hall on Wednesday 17 September 2025 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. We will be providing food, drinks and hosting a raffle and other activities at the event.
